Thank you dear friends and family, for your kindness and love for our brother Boni. We appreciate each of you as friends and family. Together we share a great loss in our life.  Our family will always know that all the memorable times we’ve shared  were precious, and blessings from  God for all of us! 
Rest In Peace Brother. Forever loved and missed until we are eternally reunited. 


Primo, I remember when I first met you, your family stopped by our house on your way to California and you gave me a football. The next time we met was a couple of years ago when we met again at Alex and Yolanda's Gonzalez's wedding anniversary. I will remember the conversations we shared and that both of us are Acts brothers. Rest in peace and may our Lord grant peace and understanding to your family.

What a sweet soul. Bo, it was such a pleasure knowing you in this lifetime. You always had a smile and a great story. What a fighter you were. Fly with the angels and tell Uncle Dan hello. Until we meet again. RIP, Love, Patty. 

I first met Boni in 1963, when we were both twelve years old, at Gage Jr. High. I was quiet, shy, and knew no one because I had recently moved to H.P. from ELA.  Well, he immediately put me at  ease with his cheerful greeting and warm smile. We lost touch after H.S., but reconnected at H.P.'s Centennial, and kept in touch these last twelve years. Bo was always kind, thoughtful and caring. He leaves a large hole in our 💕 and will be greatly missed.

I met Boni when I was 15, he was a few years older and I was friends with his sisters, Vera and Irene. We shared a lot of good times and I have great memories of him till this day. He was kind and caring till the very end. It was hard to watch his journey come to this. He was loved by many had many many friends. He will be missed….until we met again

I'm still stunned by the loss of "Boni".
He was a friend since 1981, though possibly more years.
I met him while a member of Tierra, one of the most significant bands of the last 40 years.
He arranged many parties while living in So. Cal. Subsequently, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to work with his Uncle Frank in the Produce Market.
He eventually worked for a chain of taquerias.
When i considered a Texas move in 1989, i flew to "San Anto" to visit and apply for a teaching job with Austin Independent School District.
He let me borrow his truck to access my priorities.
On another occasion, he drove Tierra to the San Antonio Airport in 1983 when we were stranded by a coach company.
Last time i saw him and his wife was with the Ray Carrion All-Stars at South-by-Southwest(2012?). He came to the Guadalupe Community Center to see Ray, Rocky, Steve Salas, Tony Hernandez, Hank Castro and i. We left early and i told him to take my room .
We talked frequently and shared Cali and San Anto stories. 
He loved Tierra and helped Rudy Salas on a San Antonio gig about 5 years ago.
Please accept my deepest condolences and God Bless the Soul of Bonifacio Berrones.

I've known Bo for 55 years.  He was 15, and I was 16 years old.  We lived close, and  walked home together after school.  Throughout the years we've kept in touch, and I appreciated the support he gave to Rudy and Tierra back in the day.  He had many friends, because he was always kind and helpful, and people would gravitate toward him.  He was a special person, and will always live in my heart and mind.  I will miss him and his friendship.
