Boyd Paul Butcher, age 81 of San Antonio, TX, went to be with God on November 22, 2009. He was born in Ludlow, Kentucky on September 20, 1928, to Harry and Dorothea Butcher. Boyd grew up in Parkersburg, W.V., and graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1947. He joined the Air Force in 1950 and retired in 1970. He was an active member of Hutchins Street Church of Christ and later MacArthur Park Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harry "Rusty" Butcher. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn Irene Butcher and sons, Mark Butcher and wife Lisa; Robert Butcher and wife Marlene; and Steven Butcher and wife Paula; grandsons, Brion and wife Jeni; Patrick and wife Tiffany; Nathan and Joshua; granddaughters, Melissa, Sarah, Elizabeth and Amanda; great-granddaughters, Chloe and Erin.
