Brenda Scharff Stewart, age 71, passed away May 12, 2016, in Spring Branch, TX. She was born September 16, 1944, in Waco, Texas to Ruben and Loree Thomas Scharff and raised in Groesbeck, Texas. Her hobbies were spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as gardening. She was also an avid reader and volunteer within her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Brenda is survived by her husband, Jerry Stewart; daughters, Marla Ricks and husband James, and Merredith Stewart; son, Stephen Stewart; grandchildren, Sara and Kristen Ricks; sister, Jennie Karotkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
