Brian David George was born in Boulder Colorado on October 29, 1974, to Maryline and V. Paul George. He graduated from Murry County High School in June 1993. He joined the Navy in Feb. 1996 and proudly served till he was medically discharged in 1999.
He was a contractor for the government till 2006 and then he went to work at Eye Care Centers of America as IT. He was with the company (now called Versant Health) till September 12, 2025. He loved his country and his family.
He was married to Rachel Lee George on August 5, 2006, till his death on December 30, 2025. He was a devoted husband and father/dad/papa/pawpaw. He loved being with his family and always looked forward to the little things. He loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, 3D printing, woodworking, leather work and so many more things. He loved to teach his children all these things and loved to see their smiles and hear their laughter. He loved watching his kids play sports, hanging out and watching movies, or just playing outside with them. He could turn any quick run to the store into an adventure whether it was Home Depot or the grocery store. Whether he was telling “dad jokes” or dancing to the music.
We all know he loved different types of Bourbon, and he loved to go to Kentucky and go to different Bourbon Trails, as well as taking his kids fishing on the lakes up in Kentucky.
He was full of life and always had a smile for people and was always willing to help if he could. He loved his friends that became his extended family and all his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jerome Beatty Grandmother Katie Maude Smith, his Aunt Barbra Jean Wheeler, his Uncles James Lee Smith and Charles W. Smith.
He is survived by his wife Rachel, his children Tyler, Adeline, Myranda, L.J., Cerensa and Colleen; grandchildren Elijah, Gabriella and Celeste; his mother Maryline (Woodie) and mother in law Susan (Beatty), Aunt Martha and Uncle Arnold, and many Kentucky cousins, Aunt Deb Cahenzli; his nieces Vanessa, Katalina, Athena, Alana, Elaina, Gwyn, Natasha, Sarah, Allis and Elizabeth; nephews Bradley, Alex, Dylan, Jaxson, Logan and Tristan; his brothers (chosen) John E, Rick, Mike, Christopher, Chad, Raul, Trey; his sisters (chosen) Pam, Anne, Kristen, Clarissa, Virginia and Angela. His favorite Bible verse Psalms 144:1; if you know him and how he would always fight and protect his family, so it makes sense. He loved many and many loved him and will continue to love him and keep his memory strong.
