

Brian was born in Yuba City, CA to parents Timothy and Margaret (Garcia) Holt. He was a 2004 graduate of MacArthur High School in San Antonio.
After graduation, Brian worked as an electrician, and at UPS, eventually working his way to becoming a supervisor, before deciding to serve his country by becoming a U.S. Marine. After completing deployments in Okinawa and Afghanistan, Brian returned to San Antonio. He graduated from San Antonio College with an Associates degree and was in his senior year at Texas A&M, studying business management.
With a positive work ethic and a kind heart, Brian truly enjoyed helping others at every opportunity. He was interested in weapons, target shooting, but most of all, working out at the gym, which no one would ever doubt if you met him.
Brian is survived by his parents; sisters, Sarah (Kent) Brittain; nieces, Ariana, Danielle and Hannah Sandoval, nephews, Micah and Noah Brittain. Also, his sister, Elizabeth Christensen Rodriguez; nieces Jasmine and Nevaeh Rodriguez; Aunt, Jane Holt and best friends for many years, Kevin Wood, Tommy Thompson, his brother-in-law Kent and many other friends from around the world.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Porter Loring Mortuary from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., with the family being present to greet after 5:00 pm. Sharing and specific expressions of remembrance of Brian will be from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
