Cameron P. Wiley USAF Lt. Col. Ret.

Lt. Col. Wiley served as a pilot instructor in the US Air Force. His last assignment was with Ballistic System Division under Gen. Bernard Schriever.

In 1950, he married Elfrieda Voges. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in education in 1958.

Following his retirement, he became a rancher and was very involved with community affairs. He served as president of the Bexar - Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department, president of Comal ISD Board of Trustees, president and charter member of the Bulverde Area Humane Society, honorary charter member of the Chamber of Commerce of Bulverde, Advisory Committee with the Comal County Extension Agency, and worked with various state and local agencies to develop water planning for the Hill Country area.

Lt. Col. Wiley was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Kathleen Louise.

He is survived by his wife Elfrieda; daughter Patricia K. Wiley Brougher, M.D. and husband John R. Brougher III; granddaughters, Caitlin E. Brougher and Shannon C. Brougher; sisters, Mildred Babe Watson and Margaret Helen Litchford, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank caretakers Batheia Ebony Scales and Batheia Holly Scales, and Sandy Loker, Vitas Hospice nurse.
