After high school, Carl served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working on projects around the farm. He worked for Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clements Zigmond; and grandparents Clara and Clements Zigmond and Frances and Cleveland Burns.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Kami Zigmond; mother Evelyn Zigmond; in-laws James and Susan Tuttle; sisters Christine Trevino and husband Roger and Angela Zigmond; brother Clifford Zigmond and wife Jennifer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kimberlie and Joshua Gerstner and Shellie and Kendall McCoy; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2014, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
