Carlos Antunez Jr.

Carlos Antunez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on January 30th, 2025. He is now with his two daughters, Gloria and Brenda in heaven. Carlos was the cherished husband of Maria Antunez for many years. Together, they built a strong family foundation that would go on to include an unforgettable love. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took immense pride in watching each generation grow and thrive.

Born and raised with a passion for fixing things, Carlos dedicated his life to the craft of mechanics, becoming a trusted and skilled professional in his field. His hands were as steady as his heart was kind, always willing to lend a hand or share his wisdom with anyone who needed it.

Known for his hard work, dedication, and quick wit, Carlos was a man who lived with purpose, always putting others before himself. Whether he was under the hood of a car, telling a story, or enjoying the simple pleasures of life with his family, Carlos made an impact on everyone he met.

Carlos leaves behind his wife, Maria; his six children, Carlos Antunez, Anthony Antunez, Rachel Garcez, Rosenda Livas, Roxann Morado, and Carlos V. Antunez, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; who will forever cherish his memory.

In his passing, the world has lost a man who embodied kindness, integrity, and love. Though he may no longer be with us, his influence will live on in the lives of those who were fortunate to know him.

A celebration of Carlos' life will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, 78211. Viewing will be from 5pm-9pm with the rosary to begin at 7pm. Please come out and celebrate the life of Carlos Antunez.
