Carlos Anthony Contreras

He graduated from Douglas McArthur High School, class of 2010. Carlos was currently studying culinary arts through the CIA at the Hyatt Regency. He was an active skateboarder and golfer. A music lover of all styles, he enjoyed composing his own music to play on his guitar.

Carlos was a member of St. Helena's Catholic Church. He was a very down-to-earth person who went out of his way to help others. A handsome man, with long hair and beautiful eyes, he was friendly and lovable and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Carlos Contreras and paternal grandparents, Librado and Mary Florencia Cruz.

Carlos is survived by his parents; sister, Mary Florence Contreras and spouse Ralph Lopez; brother, Sebastian Lee Contreras; maternal grandmother, Mary Contreras; niece, Niela; nephew, Marty; 4 uncles, Robert Reyna, Gilbert Contreras, Jesse Contreras and Jose Monreal; 5 aunts, Linda Reyna, Olivia Contreras, Lucia Contreras, Debbie Contreras and Silvia Monreal; numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
