Carlos D. Hernandez born on August 16, 1935 in Maxwell, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2014 at the age of 78. He served honorably in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Jovita Hernandez. He is survived by his brothers; Jaime Hernandez (Frankie), Robert Hernandez (Lucy), Enrique Hernandez (Yolanda), and Ruben Hernandez (Sylvia); also, 5 nephews and nieces; 8 grand nephews and nieces; 7 great grand nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bob Escamilla officiating. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
