Carlos G. Martinez

Carlos G. Martinez entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on November 15, 2025 at the age of 70. He was a born on April 15, 1955 in Poteet, Texas to parents, Selvia Garcia and Jesus Martinez. Carlos was a simple, genuine man who found joy in the open air and the company of his family.

He loved spending his days hunting, fishing, camping, and riding horses — anywhere he could be outside surrounded by nature. The outdoors wasn’t just a hobby for Carlos; it was where he felt most at peace. He enjoyed the quiet moments, the adventure of a good hunt, and the laughter shared around a campfire.

Carlos was also known for his talent at the grill. His BBQ — especially his fajitas and perfectly cooked meats — brought people together. Many family gatherings centered around his cooking, and he took pride in feeding those he loved.

Above all, Carlos adored his family. His grandchildren brought a special light to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether they were outdoors, sharing stories, or simply sitting together, Carlos made every visit meaningful. Carlos lived life simply, humbly, and with a big heart.

He will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Selvia and Jesus Martinez; brothers, Antonio Martinez, Jesse Martinez, and David Martinez.

His love for the outdoors, his steady presence, and his devotion to his family will always be remembered and deeply missed by his loving wife, Margarita Martinez; children, Melissa Martinez (Fabian Gonzalez), Carlos Martinez Jr., Mike Martinez (Gloria Martinez), Roger Martinez (Veline Foster), Antonio Martinez (Rose Martinez). Grandchildren, Hailey, Ethan, Lillianna, Sebastian, Joseph, Christian, Antonio, Elizabeth, Alexx, McKayla, Michael, Leo, Carli, Enzo; brothers, Eloy Martinez, Richard Martinez, and Martin Martinez; special friends, Jesse Cervantes, Joel Guzman and David Jermasek. He will be also remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
