

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Esther Sacriste; and siblings, Roy and Elizabeth Sacriste.
Carlos was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Esther and Carlos Sacriste. He was the first of 11 children.
Carlos spent most of his life in Texas and planted his roots in San Antonio. He joined the United States Army in 1976. In 1998 he received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
Carlos loved to draw and paint and his art will live on through many loved ones who received his work as gifts.
He will be remembered by many with a guitar in his hand, lost in the music and a smile on his face.
Carlos is survived by his children; Elizabeth Sacriste, Orion Sacriste (Samantha), Angelina Sacriste, Julia Sacriste (Kawika); seventeen grandchildren; one great grandchild; the mother of his children/friend; Noelia C Sacriste; siblings, Mary, Darlene, Oscar, Eleanor, Gloria, Rodger, Evelyn, and Pearl; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary McCullough.
Interment with military honors will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
