Carmen Arce Garcia

Carmen Arce Garcia, born on May 8, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, entered into the arms of our Heavenly Lord on November 23, 2025. She was born to Trinidad and Dorothea Arce, both of whom preceded her in death, and was raised in a home where faith, family, and love shaped the foundation of her life.

Carmen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth touched every life she encountered. She shared many years of marriage with her beloved husband, Joel Garcia, standing faithfully beside him and supporting him in ministry as an evangelist’s wife. Her faith was a guiding light, and her grace and compassion were evident in all she did.

Gifted with creativity, Carmen found joy in arts and crafts, often pouring her heart into the pieces she made. Her hands were rarely still, and the beauty she crafted reflected the beauty she carried within.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Garcia; her children, Evelyn Guerra, Joel Garcia Jr., and Carlos A. Garcia; her daughter-in-law, Adela Garcia and son-in-law; Joel Guerra, Her sisters; Diane Arce and Mary Rodriguez. Carmen was deeply proud of her growing family and leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren, including one granddaughter, four grandsons, and another precious granddaughter on the way. Her love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Carmen’s presence was a blessing—gentle, loving, faithful, and strong. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion, her joyful spirit, and the kindness she extended to all. Though she has joined our Lord in eternal peace, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May she rest in everlasting peace.

There will be a Visitation held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on November 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 pm.

On Saturday, November 29, 2025 our doors will open at 8:30 am followed by procession for a 10:30 am Funeral Service at Victory Worship Center, 102 Springvale Dr, San Antonio, TX 78227 where services will conclude.
