Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bruce Henry Rushforth.
Carmen is survived by her daughter, Maricarmen Saldana; sister, Rocio Doyle; grandchildren, Katrina and Cristian; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Wren and Atlas, and numerous loving friends.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on October 11, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a rosary at 6:00 P.M.
Interment will be at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
