

She was born on November 25, 1937 in Port Washington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lloyd and Mabel (Schauble) Johnson.
On April 21, 1956, she married her beloved husband, John Betz, Jr. also from Port Washington. They were devoted to each other for 68 years.
Carol was a 21-year military wife, she traveled to many countries and lived at various places with her husband and children; her greatest accomplishments was the closeness to her family and friends ~ Serving as a role model to her daughters and those close to her, as well as; continuing with the legacy that was handed down from generations.
She had many hobbies, one that was baking sugar cookies for her family several times a year, she enjoyed gardening, sightseeing on road trips with family, dancing, shopping and along the way she would continuously meet a stranger that later became her friend.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband John Betz, Jr.
Carol is survived by her daughters; Dawn Graves (John), Barbara Collins (James), Susie Zitterich (Michael): grandchildren, Brandi Spear (Brendon), Philip Graves (Jennifer), John Collins (Maggy), David Collins (Tracie) and Ashley Dawson (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Braxton, Keira, Evin, Bryce, Vincent, Vivian, Averi, Kayla, Ryder, and Everley; as well as many nephews and nieces.
