Carol Marie Thelen

She was born August 29, 1937, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, to the late Ruben and Martha Maag.

Carol was raised on a dairy farm and all she learned from her parents helped her to unselfishly and successfully raise 5 sons.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Brever.

Carol is lovingly survived by her husband, Earl Thelen; sons, Stephen L. Thelen and wife, Gina, Keith J. Thelen and wife, Janet, Gary D. Thelen and wife, Anne, Nicholas P. Thelen and wife, Felicia, Scott A. Thelen and wife, Janine; grandchildren, Kyle, Christy, Mary, Carolyn, Ryan, Tristan, Lucas, and Zoe Thelen; sister, Jeane Hesser.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
