Hello, my name is Linda, although I'm not related, please accept my condolences on the loss of your loved one. I loss my mother at the age of 62. I know of the sorrow you must be feeling, but if I could I would like to share a few biblical thoughts with your family. As you go through your days of grief, draw close to Jehovah God for he is the Father of all mercies and comfort. He is near to those that are broken and crushed. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Psalms 34:18 Yes, it hurts that you won't be able to talk, laugh, or hold them again, but the scriptures assure us in the near future you'll be reunited with them again. Just as Jesus resurrected Lazarus, this powerful act will be fulfilled on a grander scale. Sounds wonderful doesn't it? You may wonder, what happens to the pangs of death? Again the bible assures us that soon death and mourning will be done away with. John 5:21, 28, 29; Revelation 21:1-4 Imagine, death and the sorrow it brings will pass, life without tears and pain. I'm sure that your heart "yearns" to see your loved one again. I can only encourage you to take some "time" for yourself to reflect on the scriptures and know about Gods' promises. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8; Job 14:14,15 It is my desire to gladly assist you to learn how you can make this sure hope your very own. Sincerely

I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She leaves behind a living legacy of love, caring and courage. I have sent a card by mail. May God comfort all of you and help you to find healing.

Jack and Family, We were very surprised and saddened to hear of Carol's death. Although we never got to know each other I always felt that she was a kindred spirit in many ways; sharing the space of worship at First UU Church and having such a responsible and caring concern for her family. I remember Mrs.Tucker as a "savvy seventies" lady who was going back to school to get a law degree, who had a down to earth sense of humor, the mother of three intelligent kids, who played Bridge and had a smile that could heal. I was very sad to hear of Carol's passing. We went to law school together more than 25 years ago, and became rather close friends. She was one of my first frined in San Antonio. Since graduation, our paths went in different directions, but we would run into each other from time to time. We became somewhat close again in the late 1990s, when her father and my father-in-law were in Golden Manor at the same time, and we saw one another often while visiting them. My heartfelt condolences go to the family of Carol Tucker. I worked with Carol and got to know her when we were both Assistant City Attorneys. I consider Carol a friend who was very encouraging of my professional and personal successes. She was enormously proud of her family, and she was a woman of many accomplishments and great strength of character. I will miss her a great deal.

I met Carol Tucker in 1990 when I worked as a secretary in the Real Estate Section of the City Attorney's Office. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones for their loss. It is my prayer that God will grant each of you peace.

I remember playing at the Tucker home when I was little and having a great time with my cousins. Cousin Carol will always be remembered with a smile on her face. She will be missed.

My good friend Carol. My prayers have been with her since I first learned of her illness. I worked in the same offices since August 1989 and assisted her with some projects from time to time. We became great friends and I will cherish the happy moments and conversations we exchanged. Carol was a wonderful person. I knew Carol from work--the City Attorney's Office. I am sad to hear of her passing and will remember her as always a cheerful and professional lawyer and person.

Carol was a great attorney, wonderful mother and grandmother, but above all a caring, dear friend of mine; she will be greatly missed.

My memories of Carol will always be her friendliness and her love of sweets! Also being a former resident of Dallas, I enjoyed hearing about her trips to visit her grandchildren. She was a kind woman and I will miss seeing her around the office.

I started working for the Aviation Department on February 2002, at that time my daughter was 8 months old. A year later into my employment I ran into Carol while shopping alone at Steinmart. The one thing Carol asked me was if Athena, my daughter, was with me. Needless to say she seemed disappointed that I was alone. 
Two weeks later the circumstances forced me to take Athena to my work place. My daughter, who is usually very shy around people, was completely taken by Carol. Athena just loved a beautiful brown stone necklace that Carol was wearing. Athena has never reacted quite so positively to another stranger as she did with Carol. I just wish that I had made the time to take my youngest daughter, Victoria born 12-8-2003 to meet Carol also. Carol loved little girls so much.

I am shocked to learn of Carol's death. She was one of my favorite students, as well as a good friend. Wayne Scott
