

Caroline C. Geib, age 75 passed away on April 14, 2004 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Caroline spent her life in the Indianapolis, Indiana area until relocating to San Antonio 18 months ago to be near her son Kurt and daughter, Julie and their families.
Caroline was a dynamic and unique lady and chose a career in public relations and marketing that spanned more than four decades to utilize her gifts of working with people. Caroline was frequently mentioned in the Publican "Who's Who's among American Women". She served as a member of the Board of Director of Humana Hospital, the Board of Directors of Public Television of Indiana, and "The Advisory Committee of visiting nurses association.
Mrs. Geib was selected the queen of the Sophmore Cotillion at Butler University. As Choir Director, she served the Carmel Christian Church many years. She was accepted by National Public Relations Organizations. As such, she was a consultant of many major events in Indiana: The presentation of the Borg Warner Trophy at the Indianapolis 500, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the dedication of the facility to recondition planes for the major airlines. Mrs. Geib was awarded "the Editor of the Year by the N.A.O.P.R. She was the Vice President of the National Association of Professional women in communication, and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, and Theta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard Geib; daughters, Julie Geib and Lise Catron; son, Kurt Geib and wife, Mary; brother, Gene Black and wife, Barbara; six grandchildren, Seth and Adam Catron, Chad, Bryce and Merideth Geib, and Jacob Nelson Geib, along with nieces and nephews.
