

She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, George Arnold Knapp, her parents, her sister, Jean Monrotus Hicks of Little Rock, Arkansas, her son-in-law Thomas Robert Gish of San Antonio and niece Carolyn Hicks Moorehead of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Surviving family members are daughters, Nancy Knapp Kocurek of Austin and Carolyn Knapp Gish of San Antonio; grandsons: Thomas Robert Gish Jr. and wife, Christin Forney Gish of San Antonio and Matthew Knapp Gish of Houston; sister-in-law Lillian Knapp Bahl of Jacksonville, Florida; and nephew Thomas Edward Hicks and wife, Cynthia England Hicks of Kansas City, Kansas.
She and George Knapp were married in Dothan, Alabama in 1944 and made their home in San Antonio since 1950. She worked for Fuller Travel Agency and conducted personalized tours around the world for 30 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Junior League, The Forum, the Monte Vista Garden Club, and the Battle of Flowers Association.
She loved her God, her family, and her many friends who faithfully walked with her through the last hard years of her life.
The family is especially grateful to the Deacons and Women's Circle of First Presbyterian Church who always remembered her, to Patty and the employees of Vista Care and to her loving and dedicated caregivers, Geneva Lewis, Ethel Meyers, Mary Sinaka, and Erica Hinton.
Carolyn Knapp knew and trusted her Lord, Jesus Christ, and is joyfully in His presence today.
The family thanks and praises God for her life and all she meant to those who loved her.
