Cecilia Dauterive Duperier

Cecilia Dauterive Duperier, born June 24, 1912, died in San Antonio on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of Frank Joseph Dauterive and Modeste "Maude" Voohires and lived in New Iberia, Louisiana throughout her youth. She attended Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated in 1933 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry.

She and her late husband, A. W. "Sonny" Duperier, were married for 49 years and lived in Jackson, Mississippi from 1941 to 1988.

Ceil is survived by three sons, A. W. "Dub" Duperier and wife, Joni, of Jackson, Mississippi, Frank Dauterive Duperier and wife, Bitsy, of San Antonio, Texas and Henry Anthony Duperier and wife, Toni, of Houston, Texas. Eight grandchildren. Dianne Bruno and husband, Ted, of Pebble Beach, California, A. W. "Worth" duPerier, III and wife, Elizabeth of Jackson, Mississippi, Lori Beth Duperier of Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Terive Duperier and wife, Debbie, of San Antonio, Texas, Allison Hayne and husband, Elliott, of San Antonio, Texas, Henry Duperier Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Charlotte, North Carolina, Elizabeth Yates and husband, Scott, of Madison, Georgia, Dr. Christopher Duperier of Boston, Massachusetts. Nine great grandchildren, Kate and Cecilia Bruno, Gray and A. W. "Worth" Duperier, IV, Jonathan Duperier, Cecilia Hayne, Harvey and Katherine Duperier, and Margaux Yates.

The family wishes to give their appreciation for the loving care and attention given by Sara Quiroga, Catalina Medina, and Adriana Acuna.

A Funeral Mass will take place in Jackson, Mississippi at St. Peters Cathedral at a date to be determined.
