Celestina R. Castro

Celestina R. Castro born on May 19, 1930 went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2013 at the age of 82 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lazaro and Juana Reyes; her husband, Joaquin M. Castro. She is survived by her children, Angelita Garcia (Nick), Celestina Contreras (Pedro), Joaquin Castro, Jr. (Alba), Armando R. Castro, Ernesto R. Castro, and Sylvia A. Castro; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 10, 2012 for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Honorary Pallbearer will be her grandson, Miguel Castro and Active Pallbearers will be: Randall Lacaze, Armando Castro Jr., Gilbert Garcia, Asslan Khaligh, Al Weeks, Sixto Reyes, Joe Flores, and Antonio Reyes. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Diabetes Association or Spina Bifida Association.
