'I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Uriegas's passing. I wish I could be there in person. I heard that he was at home with Mrs. Uriegas, Cheli and Melinda and thought what a comfort that must have been to him.'

 I used to be Mr. and Mrs. Uriegas mailman for about 2 yrs. Mr. Uriegas was a very kind man, always being there if u need anything. Used to have gatorade and snacks for me when i delivered to the house, even when he moved. he was like another grandfather to me always there 4 me and the family. Mr. and Mrs. Uriegas always ask about my family, even bought presents 4 the kids. Going to miss you and the conversation about the spurs! Thank You for everything!'

Up until this last year I have served side by side with him at the SAMM shelter. We would cook breakfast pretty much every Sunday. He loved to joke,discuss local politics, talk about his family,and most of all listen to music.
I would bring my radio so that we could listen to music from Big Band Swing, ranchero, country, polkas, jazz, oldies but goodies, and even the Beatles.
We prayed for eachother in time of need and he would tell me of his time in the military, his love for his wife and family.
He spent a great deal of time in works of charity. Please seek comfort in the fact that CG can now rest in the warmth of our Lord.'

'I used to arrive at 2 am with Celestino to start up the menudo one Sunday a month. I was a Knight of Columbus at St. Ann's and a teacher at the school. May God be thanked for Celestino and may He be with you all at this time.'

It is with great empathy that I write this condolence for your loss. We have lost a wonderful role model in our community of St. Ann Church. He was such a friend to so, so many people. 'I first met Mr. Uriegas a couple of years ago at St. Ann's, and I remember him being a nice person. He and Mrs. Uriegas were so nice to support my wife Maria and I at our wedding. A few weeks ago, my wife's mother, Mrs. Beltran, suggested we go and visit Mr. and Mrs. Uriegas. We went one sunday afternoon, and had a wonderful visit. Even though Maria and I were there for a couple of hours, it seemed too short. I remember telling Mrs. Uriegas we would be back again soon, we never made it. I am sorry we didn't get the chance to visit again. He was a good man.'

'The Love, Strength, Compassion and Love of Life that he lived and bestowed on all of us will forever be remembered and allow those of us he touched to be ever grateful and thankful for the great person that he was.'

'Mr. Uriegas was my Boy Scout leader when I went to St. Ann. in the 60's.
I can remember one time we were camping and we were supposed to bring a sack lunch I forgot but Mr. Uriegas saw to it that I got something to eat.(Pack 55) He was a good and kind man.
My prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow but we have hope because of Jesus.
