He is preceded in death by his parent’s, Roy H. & Effie Little Crane, his siblings John, Maude and Louise and loving wife Paulina Crane.
Charles was a true embodiment of our greatest generation. He honorably served his country twice. First enlisting in 1936 - 1940 with the US Army and serving again during WWII from 1942 – 1946 as a Sargent in the European Theater. After the war, Charles went to work, overseas, for the US government’s Panama Canal Commission. After a long career, he retired with his wife & family to San Antonio.
Charles is survived by his children, Charles R, Steven, Richard and Eileen.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 30, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Chaplain Richard Sanchez officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
