He was self employed for 40 years in the used car business, and 10 years in the restaurant business. He was a very industrious person. No challenge was too great.
Charles was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by; wife of 15 years, Rachel Hernandez, of San Antonio, TX; son, Charles E. Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; daughter; Laura A. Hernandez of Austin, TX; sons, Michael R. Hernandez of San Antonio, TX and Jon Paul Hernandez of Austin, TX; daughter, Linda S. Mossman of San Antonio, TX; son Robert J. Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA; son Roland A. Hernandez, of San Antonio, TX; step daughter, Laurie N. Luna of San Antonio, TX; mother, Dora C Hernandez of Austin, TX; sisters Gloria Forzani of Argentina and Maria I. Maldonado, of Austin, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, and three grandchildren.
