Charles H. Newson, Jr., 79, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born to parents, Charles H. Newson, Sr. and Mildred E. Newson in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Newson. Charles is survived by his daughter, Holly Smith and husband, Mike; son, Charles H. Newson III and wife, Debra; daughter Tori Kotzur; grandchildren, Shavawn Barrett and husband, Jason, Trent Smith, Lacey Smith, Justin Newson and wife, Kristy, Travis, Taylor and Trevor Kotzur; great-grandchildren, Case and Cash Barrett, Kaiden and Kole Newson.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January, 30, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
