Charles “Chuck” Owens of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 23rd. He was born to Carlin and Clarice Owens in Illinois on March 30, 1962. Chuck was proud of his family and he was a dedicated Master Electrician. He loved to play basketball and often coached for the Christian Youth League. Chuck also enjoyed many a day fishing on the water.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gilbert Owens. He is survived by his fiancé, Melody Bernhard; his siblings, Terry Ann Romero, Steven Owens, Melissa Owen-Freeman, Crystal Owens, Nicole Owens-Marsh, Thomas Owens, Jessica Owens, Joshlin Owens, Danielle Tremain, and many additional loving family members who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31st from 5-9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Hwy. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 1st 3:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
A reception will be held at Tomatillos Café y Cantina, 3210 Broadway San Antonio, TX 78209, immediately following the funeral service.
