Charles D. Reeves

As a young man, he enlisted in the military and eventually found himself in San Antonio in the Air Force where he met his first wife, Beatrice Cotten, or "Nena" to whom he was married for over 40 years until her death in 2004.

He married Rosita Fernandez, whom he married when they were in their 80's. The two were blissfully happy until she died about a year after their marriage.

He is survived by his daughter Joycelyn Fleming King, who lives in Atlanta with her husband, Carlton King and their twin sons, Andy and Ben King.

Charlie was also a sweet and attentive uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, the children of Nena's brothers and sisters.

He is also survived by Rosita's daughter, Diana Rosa Orellana and her husband Rafael Orellana; son Javier, his daughter, Hanna; son Rafael and his wife Patricia and daughter Maya; son, Tomas, his wife Brenda, his daughters Isabella and Giselle; daughter Carla and his son Sebastian; son Mario and his wife Sacha, his son Mario Junior, and his daughter Sonoma. Diana's brother, Raul Fernandez, lives in Houston.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
