Charles Burnett Rogers was born in Slaton, Texas on November 3, 1924. He died peacefully on October 9, 2011. Mr. Rogers served as an Air Force pilot in WWII and Korea, then settled in California and went into real estate. After retirement, he returned to Texas to be near his sisters, and met Anne Beere. They had many happy years together participating in a very active family life, playing bridge and gardening. Charlie was a very kind and giving person and was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be sincerely missed. He is survived by his sisters, Janie Nichols and Mary Callahan and their children; grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and his life partner, Anne Beere and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
