

Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Navy, serving 9 years active duty and completing 15 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves, retiring with 26 years of service.
In 1963 Chuck moved to Wichita, Kansas and was employed by Burroughs Corporation (later Unisys). He retired after working at Unisys for 28 years. He was also employed by UT Health Science Center and retired from there after 11 years of service.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ina Blew Baltzell; 2 daughters, Kimberly Glasgow and husband Dale of Round Rock, Texas, and Teri Bergstrom and husband Jim of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and 1 grandson, Conner Glasgow. Chuck was a father who always put his family first, and one of his favorite pastimes was visiting with neighbors and friends. He was a member of Northern Hills United Methodist Church, and was very active in the Beacons Sunday School Class for many years. He served on the HOA Board for 8 years, and was happiest when welcoming new neighbors or helping neighbors in any way he could. Chuck enjoyed traveling with family and was becoming a world traveler, always looking forward to his next adventure. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 21 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

Rev. Milton Lewis will officiate followed by a reception. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
