

In his younger years, Charlie worked as a scoreboard keeper at Woodlawn Parks and Recreation, where he was known for his dedication and love of sports. He was a lifelong fan of football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed watching basketball games, cheering on the San Antonio Spurs. Outside of sports, Charlie loved listening to oldies music, fishing, spending time barbecuing, and sharing laughter with those around him.
Charlie will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and willingness to help anyone in need. He truly cherished time spent with his family and friends, and his presence brought joy to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro C. Ramirez; his mother, Margarita B. Ramirez; his brother, Pete Ramirez Jr.; and his nephews, Pete Ramirez III and Gene Ramirez.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Olga Ramirez; his sons, Charlie Ramirez and Randy Ramirez; his sister, Carol R. Rocco and her family; his brothers, Roy Ramirez and his family, and Richard Ramirez and his family; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Charlie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
