I followed her for awhile through her bodybuilding and her beautiful cakes etc.

As I know, we all know, we never truly know entirely what each of us has going on under the surface.

I am so sorry for her husband, children,parents,grandparents, aunts, uncles,and cousins and to ALL who loved her!

I just feel bad.

It has been a few weeks since your passing, but that only means I have had more time to try to wrap my head around it. And I can’t. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to get to know you as well as so many others did, but I want you to know that you nevertheless made a lasting impact on me. You really were a true angel of a woman. I remember the first time I “truly” met you. You had a way of making me feel like we had already been friends. Your kindness and welcoming nature - your ability and what I felt desire to get to “know me” - meant so much. Following that night I always appreciated the times we did chat. It’s hard to put into words but there are not too many people you can meet but that you can feel right off that they are a special soul. That can make an immediate and lasting impact one you. You were one of those people. And in reading the outpouring of loss and love  and all of the memories, it is clear that you touched the lives and hearts of so so many people. We all lost a true Angel in you, but God has called you home for his own reasons.  I am sure that you will be looking over your family for the rest of their lives.  May your memory live on in all of them and in us.  🙏

Christina was my cousin. I wish I had known her better or had gotten to spend more time with her.  I know she was the sweetest person and had the biggest heart! I hope she’s happy and at peace.

To her friends, her chosen family beyond child and spouse, I mourn with you this intense loss you have suffered. Rest eternal, my mentor, my sometimes confidant  and my precious friend. Christina is my niece, the youngest daughter of my brother.  We share the same middle name (Ann, as does precious Emily), and I’ve always joked that we were cut from the same cloth.  Although the distance from Texas to Alabama kept me from knowing the kids as they grew up way too fast, we have developed a bonded relationship in the years since her parents death.  She was the most vibrant, full of life and love person you would ever meet.  If she had a fault, it was loving too deeply and having a huge heart for helping others.  I will forever love her and will deeply miss all our texts, audio messages and long phone chats.  May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our good and gracious Father in Heaven.

Still lost for words.  I just know Christina was an incredible kind soul.  I’ve known her for over 18-years.  My first interaction with her was presenting a trophy to her on stage at a competition show.  I watched her grow as an athlete and we became friends at The Muscle Factory.   We shared private conversations through the years & I remember how happy she was to get married to Brent.  Her passing has definitely left a long lasting ache in my heart as it has for so many.

We are thinking of Sister Bitner's family, friends, and fans. 

We did not know her personally but after reading the guestbook tributes we are blessed for the memories of her earthly journey.

Brent, Brittany, Austin, Tyler, Macy, & Emily, and the rest of Christina's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Christina was amazing and unbelievably sweet for the short time I knew her. Her cookies and cakes were out of this world. This world will truly miss out on knowing a rare, kind, and genuine soul. May she rest in peace.

I jimmy mooneyham am alive and still married due to mrs.bitner and her husband.  She has left big shoes for daughters to fill and will always be alive in my heart as she is the spitting image of the way I want my daughters to be.  These two husband and wife were 2 peas in a pod/same.  I will never forget either of them.  "  landslide" is song best desribing this situation and reminds me of her.  I love you mrs christina n brent forever your words to me will ring.

I met Christina  at NYP in Tampa 2020. It was my first Pro show and I was a nervous wreck. Christina came up to me and knew I was a nervous wreck. She calmed me down with her kindness. I took last place during that competition. If it wasn’t for Christina, I would have quit. She encouraged me to never give up. Ever since then, we kept in touch and she even mailed me samples of my favorite cakes right before my next prep. Heaven has a new angel. Christina, you still are  and will always be an inspiration as a role model in and out of the fitness industry. You will be missed. I’m so sorry for your loss Brent.

Christina was such an amazing women. She cared so deeply for our family. Her love language was giving..and oh boy did she give. She gave all of her time, effort, and love into everything she did. She would always put us before herself. We always knew we would be taken care of with the most genuine love and kindness. When she came into our lives, we loved her immediately and she accepted us as her own. She was a role model for me to look up to, she gave everything a chance and supported me in anything did. I love her so dearly. My family will miss her terribly and has suffered a grate loss. She is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father and our savior Jesus Christ, feeling a love we cannot even understand. We love you so much Christina, we will never have a cake as good as yours.

I had to sit with this news for a bit. I needed to reach back to that time (~1996 or so) and remember what it was like to first be friends with Christina.  I don’t have photos. This was back when we would physically have to have a camera and film and develop the photos. I don’t think any of us was thinking ahead. We were just enjoying the moment as preteens should. I can’t remember now how we met or why we met. I know we went to middle school and high school together, and I know that I was meant to be friends with Christina — even for a short amount of time.When I think back on our time together, I can’t help but smile.We were friends first in middle school. Somehow Christina, Rebekah, and I became quick friends. We ate lunch together. We had inside jokes and we laughed and we had all of those silly things that only girls in middle school can understand. We went to the movies and saw Titanic like 6 million times. We would pay to go see one showing of the movie and then sneak into many different screenings of it. Despite our greatest attempts at watching that movie many times and declaring our love for him, none of us ended up with Leonardo DiCaprio. We would have sleepovers at each other‘s houses and get together and gossip and eat junk food and listen to music. We loved Matchbox Twenty and would listen to “Yourself or Some Else Like You” on CD. We would watch MTV’s TRL and pine for the various good looking dudes at the time. Sadly, none of us ever married Rob Thomas either. (He still looks just as good, doesn’t he?)When I look back now almost 30 years ago I realize we were just growing up. After middle school, we ended up at the same high school, but drifted apart at the time, and just as it is now, that was perfectly fine. Our friendship was spent exactly how it should have been.  I look back at that time though now with tears in my eyes, and I am so thankful that I got to be a part of her life. May her memory live on in each of us. Rest in Peace.

Christina, we became friends through bodybuilding and through the years, I was blessed to have our relationship grow and thrive. You weren’t just a client, you were a true friend. The sweetest, most thoughtful woman. I’m happy you found the love of your life with Brent l, who was able to give you the beautiful family you’ve always wanted. Thank you for being you. A true beacon of light in any room. A smile as bright as a lighthouse in the night. I love you and will miss you dearly my friend. Me and Devon offer sincerest condolences and send all the love to your family and all of those who were lucky enough to call you a friend.
