

Tina was born in Big Sandy, TX and attended the Big Sandy Schools and Draughn's Business College in Dallas, TX. She met and married Lt. Larson in Ft. Sill Oklahoma in March 1943. She accompanied him to various Army posts.
Tina worked as Cub and Girl Scouts Leader while her children were active in scouting. She served as a Red Cross volunteer and Grey Lady in various Army hospitals. She was always active in the officer's wives clubs, Sunday school and was an avid bowler and bridge player.
Since returning to San Antonio, Tina has enjoyed her four lovely grandchildren, one great grandson, gardening, baking and sharing her bakery products with friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Ladies of the Shrine Hospitality Club, San Antonio Newcomers Club and the Northside Club. Tina attended Church at Fort Sam Houston Chapel where she served as a greeter.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Larson-Knaub and husband, Pat; her son, Jerry Larson; her grandchildren, Shane Heinemeier, Heather Brown, Bryan Crain and Nicole Crain; her great grandson, Elijah; and her brother-in-law, Ector Gaston.
