Christine D. Smith

Chris was a soft-spoken, peaceful, loving Christian, who treated everyone with warmth and kindness. In a time of turmoil, the sound of her voice or a moment in her den brought understanding and resolution.

Chris was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby E. Musser; stepfather, Frank G. Musser; and father, James L. Davis. She is survived by loving husband of 52 years, Nelson R. Smith; sons, Allan Smith and wife Kim, Rick Smith and wife Tina; grandchildren, Lindsay Evans and Nicole Smith; brother, Jimmy Davis and wife Jo; sister, Shona Moore and husband, Philip; brother, Lemuel Davis; sister, Becky Davis; nephews, Philip, Robert and Christopher Moore; and numerous other relatives and good friends.

After the top priority of raising her sons, Chris went on to become an IRS Tax Fraud Investigative Aide for the Criminal Investigation Division. Upon retirement, she most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters-Nicole and Lindsay. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends and celebrate the life of Christine D. Smith in their home following the services.
