He was born on December 7, 1988 to his loving parents, Mark and Gwynne Canales. He was raised in Helotes, Texas where he attended Sandra Day O'Connor High School.
Christopher was a unique individual who loved music, travel, school and his large extended family. He will be remembered for his gentle humor, quick wit and loving ways.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Reuben Duke, and his grandmother, Mary Canales. He is survived by his father, Mark Canales, his mother Gwynne Duke Canales, his sister, Courtney Canales, his brother, Brian Canales; grandma Mary Lou Duke and grandpa Modesto Canales, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be his uncles, Mike Shaw, Bill Wheeler, John Schattenberg, Steven Canales, Kevin Canales and his cousin, Keaton Shaw.
