Uncle Tony, 
I only get to see you about once every 2 years since I moved from San Antonio, and regret I didn't keep in touch with you and my cousins. Our Rodriguez family is a very big tree of many branches and I know I have no excuse for not getting together sooner. I remember the boys as little tikes, with me not being too much bigger. Seeing them now, they have grown up to be very nice young men. I promise to keep in better contact. I Love You Lots. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your my family.

Through the many stories Lara has told us of Steven and Christopher, we are pleased to know that both of them were such terrific people with great influences in her life. Chris will always be remembered as the guy with the biggest smile and greatest heart. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. Everytime I saw him he had a smile, a joke, and an open heart. He always looked out for his brothers and will continue to do so only now with wings. We Love you and miss you always.

I wish that I knew my own family better. My dad has always told me that nothing is stronger than family. I guess I took it for granted. I didn't know Chris very well. But what I remember was nothing but good, fun memories. I remember how responsible he always was. How peer pressure never stood a chance against his willpower. I also remember how he took pride in bringing happiness to everyone he met. Chris was the genuine article. He left behind a standard for all of us to follow. I did not know him long, we'd play pool on Mondays. Everytime we were hanging out, he always had jokes; new ones and the old but they never got 'old'. So now when I think of him, I can only smile. He'd always make it a good time. For all the songs that were going through my head I was reminded how easy it can be to just grab a song a play it for an occasion but not really capturing any kind of value. Vandross's House Is Not A Home almost fits, but not long as it's for his woman. I found these words, though. I think these do Chris justice based on what little I heard about him as a human being.

I knew Chris since he was a little boy. I remember how cute and quite he was but just with others not with his brothers or family or friends. He was a big part of the lives of our children. His nieces liked talking to him and being with him. He was funny and his humour was what has given us our fond memories.Chris was peaceful within himself. He was not judgemental and in his inner peace he was able to let everyone be who they were.We were all very fortunate to have known Chris and love him. He will live in all the lives of the people he ever touched.

I remember Chris being our designated driver everywhere we go. He was a kind enough guy to help me get in to a vehicle and in to my apartment when I was unable to cause I was under the influence. He was a great guy liked by everyone.

I can?t really believe that my uncle is gone...I guess it hasn?t hit me yet. But, I was thinking about him and the first thing that came to mind was his humor and smile. Chris could make anyone laugh no matter how they felt at the moment. I guess that was the best part about him. My sister and I both grew up with Chris and the rest of our uncles, but their more than just our uncles we're closer than that, their like my brothers. We realized that Chris?s memory would live on in our smile and any joke we make. Just like he used to,when he'd make us all laugh. I am going to miss him a lot and I love him SOoOo much. He will always be in my prayers along with the rest of our family.

You were a great friend Chris, to all of us. Ty,Daimen and myself will miss the times we hung out together and we will never forget you. You always found a way to make us laugh and we will never forget your smile either. We will always be thinking about you and hopefully you'll watch over us.

Giggity Giggity Giggity Giggity. We been friends since high school and kept in touch when you were Arizona. Your the best friend anyone could have. Even though i was older i look up to you, ask you for advice. Nobody will be able to replace you as my bestfriend, I will miss the fridays we spent drinking and talking about how much worked sucked.
