Clara, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker was a generous and giving woman who loved her family with all her heart. She had a devout faith as it showed in her dedication to St. Luke’s Catholic Church for over 40 years. Clara was a member of the Altar Society, worked in the school cafeteria and was famous for her meatball Subs, which she made every year for the Fiesta Finale. She looked forward to church bingo, all the craft shows and going to yard sales. She loved baking, especially her traditional Italian Easter Bread, wedding cookies and pizzelles. She enjoyed having coffee and desserts with her dear friends at her kitchen table.
Clara was born in New Castle, Delaware. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Joseph Doyle, her parents, Enrico and Palmarosa Manetti of Teramo, Italy and her sister Amanda DiSantis from New Castle, Delaware.
She is survived by her two daughters: Carina King and her husband Howard King and Patty Dimitrov and her husband Boris Dimitrov, six grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
