Mrs. Clara Marie Edwards, age 92, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Clara was born to John and Clara Hinton on the family farm in 1920 in Austin County. She met and married W.J. "Joe" Edwards who preceded her in death. Marie was a true Texas woman; self sufficient, strong and ready for whatever life handed her. A long-time resident of San Antonio, she considered it her home. She is survived by her sister, Martha Moore; nieces, Janet Williams, Judalon Manes, Terry Hinton and Donna Bellair; nephew, Steven Ray Gilbert and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
