Clara retired from the San Antonio ISD after twenty plus years as a Special Ed teacher. She was also past president of the Louise Schutze Lodge Order of Hermann Sons. Clara was one of the first to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Incarnate Word. She was an active participant in the Lions Field Seniors program.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Reininger and her sister, Julia Lehmann. Survivors: husband, Raymond A. Lackey; sons, Michael W. Lackey and wife, Linda, Patrick A. Lackey and wife, Barbara, Timothy E. Lackey and wife, Renai; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Adelaide Lamprecht, Jerome Reininger, Leroy Reininger, Ruby Koehler, Ruben Reininger, Frederick Reininger, Melitta Rabe, Melinda Mueller, James Reininger, Anna Marie Schievelbein.
