Clay A. Zoeller passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the age of 55, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 1, 1947 in San Antonio and remained here all of his life. He was a General Foreman of Gas Leak Repair for City Public Service where he worked for 34 years. Family and friends were very important to Clay. He was a kind, loving, compassionate husband, daddy and friend. He never met a stranger and was known for being an all around nice guy. Clay had a way of brightening up a room with his presence, his never ending jokes and his determination to never let anyone know he was sick. Clay loved hunting with his uncles, fishing and roping with his dear friend Gary. But the thing he loved most was his wife of 29 years. We will miss him like crazy! Clay is preceded in death by his father A.C. Zoeller. He is survived by wife Judy Zoeller, daughters; Mandy Pruitt and husband David, grandchildren Ashley, Wesley and Emily; Kim Foley and husband Chris, Granddaughter Camryn; Kasey Oden and husband Kirk, granddaughter Callie, son; Shane Zoeller, grandchildren, Shane Jr. and Taylon; mother Irene Zoeller, sister Lita Day, a very special father-in-law, Cecil "Cap" Shuler, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many good friends. The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Thomas Fisher for crossing the line and becoming more than just a doctor to Clay, and to his wonderful staff for the love and care they showed him over the last 3 years. He loved each of you!
