Due to the current pandemic, only 50 people will be allowed in the chapel at a time. In order to accommodate as many of our friends and family as we can, we will have two services to be held at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel located at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
A memorial service for our friends will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 7:00 pm.
A private funeral service for family will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 12:30 pm. The interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 pm with Air Force Honors. The funeral service and interment will be streamed live on the Sunset Funeral Home Facebook page. Please honor the family’s request for this private service.
TO FRIENDS IN AA: It has become very evident that Clyde had many more friends in recovery than the Chapel can accommodate. In light of this, there will be a third Celebration of Life gathering exclusively for AA members. The date, time and location for this event will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, it was Clyde’s wish to have a fund created in his memory and the donations distributed equally among several organizations devoted to helping others that he so loved. To honor his wish, the Clyde Landry Memorial Fund was created and donations can be made at: gofundme.com/2580681bhc.
