Deputy Chief Clyde H. Ross B. C. S. O. of San Antonio, TX, age 59 passed from this life to join his Savior and his dad, Clyde R. Ross in heaven on February 18, 2005. Our beloved father, son, grandfather and friend Clyde was born October 1, 1945 and he was a loving son to his parents Clyde and Frances Ross. As a young boy, he made a profession of faith and was baptized at University Park Baptist Church.
His faith sustained him through his daily life. Clyde retired from SAPD in 1993 with 26 years of service. At the time of his passing he was Deputy Chief with the Bexar Co. Sheriff's Office where he had served for the past 12 years.
He leaves behind his beloved family of 2 daughters, Denise Ross and Dana Snowden, his son-in-law, Clint; granddaughter, Hannah and grandson, Ross; his mother, Frances Ross; mother of his girls, Sherry Johnson; 2 aunts, several cousins and many, many friends in law enforcement, motorcycle and golf fields.
Clyde was an honest Christian man, always putting others before himself. We thank God for the gift of Clyde's life.
