Consuelo Flores Martinez

Consuelo Flores Martinez, born on February 13, 1936 passed away peacefully on September 5, 2019. She is preceded in death by her son, Jose E. Flores; her father, Hermenejildo Flores and her brother, Leandro Flores. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert G. Martinez; children, Oscar Flores, David Martinez, Ruben Martinez (Aimee), Hector Martinez (Laura); grandchildren, Jessica Flores, Quincy Martinez, Darby Martinez, Leila Martinez, Catherine Martinez, Timothy Martinez and Jason Martinez; siblings, Linda Rayos, Hirma Moya, Guadalupe Flores, Herman Flores, Jesse Flores and Carlos Flores; her cousins, Emma Tracy and Catarina Chavarria. Consuelo was a family-oriented mother who loved to sing canciones with her siblings and husband. She was a proud 3 time cancer survivor who also volunteered with cancer survivor groups. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting and she loved her Spurs. She will truly be missed by family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday September 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home at 226 Cupples Rd. Services will conclude Friday night.
