Consuelo Gonzales

On January 23, 1949, she married Gilbert A. Gonzales, and together they raised seven children. Consuelo provided a great example to her family through her faith in God, her resilience, and her humor.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael C. Gonzales. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gilbert A. Gonzales, and by children, Gilbert Jr. and his wife, Marilu; their son, Brian, daughter-in-law, Ashley, and child Simon; daughter-in-law Cecilia, her daughter and son-in-law, Micole and Daymon St. John; daughter Christine MacRae, husband, Rollin, and their sons, Niall and Connery; daughter, Diane Bertrand, her husband, Nick, and their children, Nick G. and Suzanne. The three younger sons include, Joseph and wife, Elizabeth; Frank and his wife, Ana, and their daughters, Gabriela and Alexandra; son, Vincent, wife, Rhoda, and their sons, Ariel and Pablo.

She will be missed by her siblings, by her many friends from Little Flower and Christ the King Churches, and by her devoted friend, Carolyn.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5th beginning at 5:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 PM and a Memorial Service immediately following at Porter Loring on McCullough.

On Wednesday, May 6th at 10:00 AM, Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2610 Perez St. followed by interment in San Fernando Cemetery II.
