Consuelo V. Martinez

She was the third of 8 children of Ignacio and Rosa Villarreal. Connie was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved hosting Thanksgiving dinners for her family making sure that traditions were being passed on. Connie was a die heart Cowboys fan. Win or lose she cheered them on faithfully. Taking family trips to Casinos was something she enjoyed. Connie was one of the strongest women we had ever met. Despite everything she would encounter she never complained. Connie was a fighter, and we will all remember her as our warrior.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Ignacio and Rosa Villarreal, brothers Ignacio, Juan and Frank Villarreal, sisters Frances Gutierrez and Juana Garza.

Connie is survived by her three children Michele Aguirre (Leo), Albert F Martinez III, and Ignacio V. Martinez (Linda). She was a beloved grandmother to Erica Lopez, Hilary Evans, Albert F. Martinez IV, Ignacio Martinez Jr, Faith Martinez, Stormie Martinez and great grandmother to Linus Evans. Connie is also survived by her two sisters Rosalinda Thompson and Margaret Lopez.

The Martinez family would like to thank Davita RoadRunner Clinic, Kindred at Home and We Care Mobile Health Services for providing such wonderful care to Connie.

Services will be held from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday October 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann St, San Antonio Tx 78201. Interment will follow at Wild Flower Cemetery 10392 Kriewald Rd, San Antonio, Tx 78245.
