Beloved Wife, Mother, and Devoted Servant of the Lord

Consuelo Ruiz, age 95, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Consuelo was the cherished daughter of Atilano Aleman and Benita Villarreal.

She was married for 65 wonderful years to the love of her life, Luis N. Ruiz. Together, they built a legacy of love, faith, and family. Consuelo had a warm and generous spirit, and her work in retail was a reflection of her dedication to service and community. She worked for many years at SA Shoes and at Castro's Bridal in Puerto Rico, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and grace. A devoted Christian, Consuelo lived her life in faithful service to the Lord. Her unwavering faith and gentle heart left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her deep love of God, her family, and her generous, compassionate soul. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her loving husband, Luis Ruiz, her loving parents, Atilano and Benita Aleman, and her cherished sisters, Bene, Tomasa, Elena, Elvia, her brothers, Raul and Atilano Aleman.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Ramon Infante), Sonia (Jesse Garcia), her son Luis Ruiz, brothers, Roberto, and Blas Aleman, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Luis Javier Ruiz, Raymond Infante, Pedro Infante, Justin R. Hernandez

Luis Antonio Ruiz, and Luis Samuel Ruiz.

A visitation for Consuelo will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM officiated by Pastor Daniel Perez. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 9:30 AM, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with interment to follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
