Corinne G. Nelson

Corinne Gladys Nelson, age 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2022 in San Antonio with her husband by her side. Corinne was born on October 6, 1946 in Queens, NY. to Gustave Brauer and Katherine Kraemer Brauer. Corinne was a 1966 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and upon graduation pursued a career in fashion design. Corinne was an Actress and Costume Designer with the San Antonio Little Theatre group. In 1992 she won a Globe Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in the musical, Chicago. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a Soprano voice in Lutheran choirs for 35 years. Corinne was the matriarch of her family and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Winnie Casha and Carol Cardwell; brother, Robert Brauer; and stepson, Luke Nelson. Corinne is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Nelson; her sons, Tim Donoughue (Trina), Pete Donoughue, Jeff Donoughue (Kathy); daughter, Sharon Donoughue; stepchildren, Seth Nelson (Sarah); Anne Mitchelle (Mike); Zach Nelson; and Lydia Nelson; grandchildren, Alex Donoughue, Mitch Donoughue, Kevin Donoughue, Bailey Donoughue, Sarah Donoughue, Meghan Donoughue, Michael Donoughue, Carl Donoughue, Ashley Cornwell, Gage Beck, Seth Beck; stepgrandchildren, Lilly Nelson, Jack Mitchelle, Kate Mitchelle and Will Nelson.
