He is preceded in death by Cruz & Paula Torres.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Rosa Torres; children, Sandra Martinez, Rosa Hernandez, Norma Newbold, Elizabeth Torres and Cruz R. Torres Jr.; grandchildren, Crystal, Jackie, Marina, Aracely, Rene, Samantha, Israel and Emmanuel; great grandchildren, Sofia, Anthony, Zachary, Iliana, Camila, Julieta, Axel and Joaquin.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX, 78211, on November 1, 2025, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
A rosary will take place at the same venue on November 1, 2025, at 7:00 pm.
