

Cynthia L. Madden, age 71, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on July 3, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on May 30, 1950, in Cordell, Oklahoma to parents, William N. and Betty J. (Killian) Price. Ms. Madden was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School of San Antonio. Her family moved to Oklahoma where she attended nursing school at Western Oklahoma Area Vocational-Technical School, graduating as class Vice President.
Cynthia was caring and generous with her time always placing the needs of family, friends and patients above her own. She loved to bake cakes for family and friends, possessing a natural artistic ability to build and decorate elaborate cakes for special occasions. One of her greatest cake creations was a wedding cake that included several tiers and a lighted waterfall for her son’s wedding. Cynthia was a Christian who thoroughly enjoyed singing in her church choir. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and great-grandchildren as much as possible. She also enjoyed meeting with fellow Robert E. Lee classmates for a once a month dinner.
Ms. Madden was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty and sister, Saundra Randol. She is survived by her son, Kyle Madden and daughter-in-law, Catherine; two grandsons, Dr. Eric Madden and wife Audrey, and Mark Madden; great-grandchildren, Peyton Emily and Hayes Anthony; sister, Dianne Burgess and husband Don; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and her two beloved cats, Theodore and Domino.
