

He graduated from Louis Fox Vocational and Technical High School in 1947. He received his BS degree in Mathematics from Trinity University in 1952 and received his MS degree in Physics in 1962 from Trinity University.
He worked for the SAISD for 36 as a teacher (Burbank HS), principal (Longfellow Jr. High, Sam Houston HS, and Highlands HS), Assistant and Associate Superintendent while also teaching Chemistry and Physics at San Antonio College in the evenings.
He was predeceased by his parents, Loy and Faye Clark, his sister, Nell Downum, niece, Sharon Fink and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Clark.
Frank is survived by his wife of 70 years, Arlene; sons, Gary and Larry (Charlene); grandsons, Kevin (Faith), Cody (Cristina), and Justin; great grandchildren, Haley, Carter, Henry and Kate; former daughter-in-law, Karen Clark; niece, Priscilla Watkins and her son, Christopher.
Other than his professional career, his most enjoyable times were those spent with his grandsons and great-grandchildren, his woodworking, and the time he spent on the Guadalupe River fishing with his wife.
Frank previously was a member of Alamo UMC, Aldersgate UMC, First UMC of New Braunfels and currently a member of University Methodist Church.
A family graveside service was held on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
