Dan Anthony Catalani

Dan Anthony Catalani peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday October 26,2024 at the age of 69. He was born and lived in San Antonio, Texas his entire life. He graduated from Antonian High School ’73 and attended San Antonio College.

A pillar of the fourth-generation family business, Dan dedicated over 45 years to B. Catalani Produce Inc. He began working for his father on the loading docks as a teenager and succeeding to co-owner alongside his brothers.

In his youth, Dan was an accomplished swimmer, even competing in the Junior Olympics. He was an avid runner, completing multiple marathons, and loved riding his Harley through the Texas Hill Country with his friends and brothers. He especially enjoyed the company of his grand-dogs Digby, Chip, Rosa and Finnic in recent years.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents Frank A. Catalani, Sr. and Anne R. Catalani PhD; brothers Paul J. Catalani and Frank A. Catalani II; nephew Stuart Steven Catalani and great-nephew Vincent Donato Catalani.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Anna Marie Catalani; daughters and husbands; Allison Catalani and Steve Yager; Amanda Catalani and Brandon Davis; brothers Blas Catalani II (Georgann), Steven Catalani, Sr. (Kelly), Mark Catalani, Alan Catalani (Carrie), sister Anne Catalani (John).

The family will be accepting visitors from 6:30-7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East.
